What is Ramipril

Ramipril (Tritace), lowers high blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and reducing how hard the heart needs to contract to force blood into the arteries. It is an ACE enzyme inhibitor, its stops the body from restricting blood vessels to control blood pressure.
