How to use Kliovance?

The usual dose of Kliovance is one tablet daily and each tablet contains 1mg of estradiol and 500mcg of norethisterone acetate. The tablet should be swallowed whole and taken at the same time each day. Kliovance tablets are taken continuously and therefore do not take a break between strips or packs unless advised to do so by your doctor. Your doctor will aim to give you the lowest dose for the shortest time appropriate to treat your symptoms.

Side-effects

Common side effects associated with Kliovance are: breast pain/tenderness, vaginal bleeding, headache, migraine, weight gain, back pain, depression and vaginal thrush. The product literature advises caution with many health conditions, therefore please consult the patient information leaflet for detailed information regarding when HRT may be unsuitable for you.
