Side-effects

The most common side-effects are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and loss of appetite. Less common side-effects include skin reactions such as redness or itch.

Managing your diabetes is an integral part of daily life. It means you take responsibility for your own health and wellbeing with support from those involved in your care. Lifestyle changes, such as eating a healthy diet and controlling your weight can also help to control your blood sugar levels. It is also important to have regular medical reviews of your diabetes. At least every 12 months we recommend you monitor your diabetes, kidneys and cholesterol along with a blood pressure check.
