How to take it

Take one tablet a day on an ongoing basis.

Effectiveness

As long as you have what's termed 'male pattern baldness' you should stop losing your hair within three to six months of starting treatment. If you stop taking it you will to start losing your hair again.

Side-effects

Noticeable side-effects are uncommon but can include cause a very small chance of reduced libido, erection problems or tender breasts. In less than 2% of men there has been a sexual side effect including less desire for sex, difficulties in achieving an erection, and a decrease in the amount of semen. These side effects went away in men who stopped taking Propecia®.
